As the alpha of the retreat center herd, he’s a natural leader with a big heart and a protective spirit.Background: Purchased from a neighboring town, Cottonwood, Kosmo started as a bit of a problem horse—bucking off his previous owner on trail rides and strolling home alone. With the help of renowned horseman Buck Brannaman, Kosmo transformed into a well-trained draft sport horse, blending power and grace.
Spiritual Purpose: Kosmo embodies the Father Principle. Drawn to those needing to heal their relationship with their father or a male figure, he stands as a guardian and guide—strong, loving, and always in charge.

Meet Cece: The Gentle Mother
Breed: Buckskin Paint Registered Quarter Horse (Large Pony Size)
Height: 14.2 Hands
Personality: Sweet yet aloof, Cece is Kosmo’s devoted girlfriend and a nurturing soul. She shies away from adults but lights up around kids, her ears perking forward as she steps in to mother them.Background: A reliable and obedient mount, Cece’s kind nature makes her the perfect horse for beginners—she’s so safe, even a monkey could ride her! She spends 75% of her time by Kosmo’s side, a loyal companion at the retreat center.
Spiritual Purpose: Cece represents the Mother Principle. Those seeking to heal their connection with their mother or a key female figure in their life are naturally drawn to her soothing, maternal energy.

Meet Brogan: The Innocent Soul
Breed: Half Thoroughbred / Half Trakehner (American Trokainer)
Personality: With his baby-like eyes and warm-hearted nature, Brogan is pure innocence wrapped in a show-jumping champion. He loves scratches, people, and dropping into meditation faster than you can sit down.Background: Bred from a magnificent stallion, Bucha, and a show jumper mare, Kate, Brogan was born at Rolling Oaks Trakehner facility and raised by his owner in Illinois. He excelled in high-level show jumping, leaping big jumps with grace and skill.
Spiritual Purpose: Brogan channels the Inner Child. He connects with those healing their wounded innocence, playfulness, or even a child within their family system, offering a tender, approachable presence.

Personality: A giant puppy dog with a flair for the dramatic, Caruso loves to stand close—chest-to-chest—and demand hugs. His magical aura and sweet demeanor make him impossible to resist.Background: Adopted from Excalibur in Las Vegas, Caruso once starred as the evil villain’s horse in the Tournament of Kings show. Now in Sedona, he’s traded jousting for healing, bringing his larger-than-life energy to the herd at home.
Spiritual Purpose: Caruso is the Magician. Like a shaman or wise elder, he aids in energy work and spiritual healing, drawing those who seek wisdom and transformation.

Personality: Sweet, kind, and eager to please, Dragonfly exudes a mystical, unicorn-like charm. She’s Caruso’s devoted partner, sticking by his side with grace and quiet strength.Background: Also adopted from Excalibur, Dragonfly played the Dragon Knight’s horse in the Tournament of Kings. She followed Caruso to Sedona after a heartfelt goodbye at her stall, proving their bond was unbreakable.

Once isolated, he’s blossomed with love and companionship over six years.Background: Rescued from a lonely past—possibly marked by abuse—Cracker Jack now thrives in Sedona’s red dirt, a testament to his transformation. He’s a joy to ride and a quiet friend to all.
